In addition to the Mediterranean region we met in Dobrumba, here we venture even further east. In our restaurant in Buda, we stay half a foot in our favorite Middle Eastern and North African landscapes, but we cross the chains of the Caucasus and don't even stop at India. We don't just want to bring you the flavors of the countries, our goal is to make you feel as if you have arrived as a guest, thousands of kilometers further east.

By now, we’ve collected endless experiences from travels, but Marumba is the manifestation of everything we want to show about our proper gastronomy and soul-felt hospitality. The Carpathian Basin region’s gastro culture is impressive, you can easily taste the diversity by Oliver Heiszler, our talented chef. Marumba is guided by honesty and sarcasm isn’t far away from us either. That’s why we would call this new member of the Rumba-family an “eatery” rather than a basic restaurant.
