Dobrumba was inspired by our travels. We gathered all the best of the Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Caucasian dishes surrounded by lush plants and treasures collected from different countries. We bring recipes from Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Moroccan, Israeli, Lebanese, Georgian, Armenian, Turkish, and many other cuisines to the table. Alongside the colorful, shareable dishes, we offer organic wines and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixed drinks. Spend time with us in our plant-filled community space in the heart of Budapest, enjoying good company and great music!
Our menu features light, mostly vegetable-based dishes that are best enjoyed when shared with others. Through our travels, we learned the importance of communal dining, and we want to share that experience with you. Diversity is not only reflected in our recipes and ingredients but also in how we bring together meat, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options. The world is diverse, and we believe that’s what makes it so beautiful.
Our wines are made with an organic approach, meaning no chemicals enter the vineyard and no additives touch the developing wine. The result is a naturally vibrant wine, crafted with a nature-focused philosophy. Our wine list includes carefully selected Hungarian and international wines, chosen through thoughtful selection and tasting. We regularly host wine tastings at our other restaurant, Pingrumba, and we spend time with winemakers and frequently visit vineyards and cellars both locally and abroad.
On our drink menu, we’ve gathered the best from the Atlas Mountains to Ararat, from the Bosporus to Gibraltar. We’ve crafted flavors from our travel experiences, bringing you the finest results of our tastings and experiments in each glass. At the Dobrumba bar, you can choose from simple yet modern, complex alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, featuring ingredients commonly found and frequently used in the region: fermented creations (like kombucha and kvass), verjus, tea, and spices. Our goal is for the ingredients on our menu to feel familiar, but to surprise you with how they come through in the drinks – like fermented beets, green grape juice, and peppermint tea.
